Description
Broad-leaved meadow grass is a 60–90 cm tall grass. It has broad flattened basal sheaths and 8–15 cm wide leaves. Its mode of growth is intensely tufted, forming tussocks, which means that dense stands may be highly covering. It grows in park lawns and nearby woods, often in herb-rich forests and heath forests with grass-herb vegetation.
